Thank you. They're pretty decent wrestlers with a good work ethic. My 6 year old won state this year and my 9 year old has won it last two years. The problem is that it has been in Alabama so they're gonna have to get used to being a small fish in a big pond once we move.

East Kansas might be your best choice. We have multiple state champions and placers in the room. We will start out in September for pre-season and then regular season will start in November. send an email to eastkansaswrestlingclub@yahoo.com for information during that time.

Lot of good clubs in Johnson County and welcome to the area. Be sure to check them all out and make sure the "best choice", as one of the posts above states, isn't more like an ocean where it's easy to get lost. If you do pick that club, hope you can coach. Might be a prerequisite for that club.

You could make use of the Purler Wrestling Academy too. Wednesday workouts at St. James Academy, year round. Good kids in the room, from 5 to 18. The academy supplements your club. I am a big believer and love watching Tony work with the kids, especially the younger kids.

I'd say you have a lot of good clubs in your area. Can't go wrong with East Kansas or STA though.

Good luck!

Do not forget us Kansas City Wrestling Club. We are out of Shawnee Mission East. We are your high school in that area.
