I have been thinking about JIM's response all day and fill that I have to get something off of my chest. If a parent thinks that they are helping their child by "redshirting" them for high school, aren't they just telling their child that they are not good enough to compete with kids their own age?
I understand that there are "old" freshman for a variety of reason's and I have no problem with that. I just do not believe sports should be the deciding factor.
