I am so pumped for the Olymipics. I think we have our best freestyle team in a while.

Haze---Gold
Scott---Gold
Frayer---Gold
Burroughs---Gold
Herbert---Gold
Varner---Gold
Dlagnev---Gold

Doug Eck---Participation Ribbon and a gift certificate for a free hair cut.

I know that it is a stretch and we have one realistic gold medal opportunity, but I think we come out with 3-4 medals from the freestyle team.

For your information, there is not a single person on your list that has defeated me.............

Can't believe my undefeated record against all of those guys didn't get me a wildcard berth.........

And just so I don't burst those guys' bubbles with an a$$ whipping, I'll let them reap the glory, and take that participation ribbon, or "declined to participate in order to allow others to be in the spotlight" ribbon, as it should be called.

Are they televising any of the matches or do we just have to read the results in the paper? I know that they'll be on in the middle of the night, but Coach Craig has offered to stay up and keep me company on Skype while we cheer on the US team if we can find somewhere to watch.

Sure hope you're right Coach Craig, or even just close.

I think that we have a couple of guys that can pull out a medal in freestyle.

Haze--he needs a couple of upsets to bronze...don't think that will happen.

Scott--He is on fire right now...I think he has a realistic chance to medal.

Frayer---He needs a couple of guys to get hurt orrrrrr pull off a couple of big throuws. He is a pinner and could get on a roll, but I don't see it at this level.

Burroughs---the best.

Herbert---dont see it

Varner---he has a shot.

Dlagnav---I am stepping out here....Gold. I don't know why except for a gut feeling. Take that for what it is worth.

I agree with your post, I am kind of like you with your gut feeling on Dlagnav. I have the same gut feeling with Varner, I think he is going to pull some upsets and be in the hunt.

Wrestling competition starts on Sunday. The NBC site that Jim Gaither linked to is the best place to follow action. Here is the URL for the wrestling page: www.nbcolympics.com/wrestling/index.html.

You can see the complete wrestling scheduled at www.nbcolympics.com/wrestling/results-schedules/index.html.
