Joe is a great guy and a great coach. I have no issue with him working to better himself and his family. He has already announced to his team he is leaving next year. It will be interesting to see how many kids (especially the several Oklahoma kids on the roster) redshirt. That will be a telltale sign they are going with him and Labette will be left with a nothing.
NEO is a awesome place, but this is bad for KS wrestling. Too bad too, Joe is doing exactly what he should and getting paid for what he does and going to a place that seems to appreciate him. Looks like college administration got lazy and over underestimated Joe's ability to get a better deal. Again great for Joe, but to string out over a year like this I think signals bad things for Labette wrestling.
