Only bad call on the night was Church getn called for stalling, but it was funny as hell to see him start to yell about it. Good job to all involved in this, it was a great time.

Baker, you must have got hit in the head, there were no potentially dangerous calls in the Bahm-Phippen match there was a choking and head scissor both illegal, as far as the stale mate that could go both ways Bahm had a couple of close call take downs that were called stale mate and there was nothing sketchy in the Hernandez-Taylor match other than they should have went on their feet for the OT.

Does it matter. Don't expect to get a call at a Ark City Alumni dual....looked like a great time.

8-8 in matches. Will was up 2-0 in the 3rd. He should have picked down and avoided the snake. That was a 9 point swing. Ouch...

Thanks to the Hernandez's, Chris and the others who put on a great show. It was probably the best showing I've seen at an AC dual. Its a bit frustrating to hear the chatter about referee calls.
Baker, please, I'm trying to be respectful to you as I don't know you and to be honest don't care too. (your the only one I know of making these "so called" scetchy call allegations) But this was a tribute dual and to read your post is offensive) Who really cares who won, the fact is, AC has great tradition, started by those that gave a majority of their life to kids like me. So please, all, lests keep the focus on that. "We" wrestled our butt's off and I appreciate Team Kansas for supporting our tribute. And more importantly thanks to those that started the Bulldog tradition....

Easy Don Jaskson i did not see your name in the line up, They asked me to come so i did. I'm sorry I did not wrestle up to your standards, My shoes are brand new i retired my last pair a long time ago. If i threw that leg over when i took him to his back it would have been game over I'm a lil rusty. A little rusty? Really? Dude....Everyone was rusty. This was the first time I've even been in a room with a live match going in 15 years. No need for excuses. What I'd like to see is an injury update. I'm going to the dr as soon as I get back home. Really jacked up my knee.

Without question one of the coolest events I have seen to celebrate our sport and it's history! Great job to all organizers and competitors for making this event happen! It was a 100% blessing to be a part of this event... How could you not be in awe of a FULL Ark City Gym to watch a bunch of old dudes who believed they were moving faster than they really were! LOL... And yes Jeremy, I did get hit for stalling, but I felt like I was on top of a big ole boy and I might have been just hanging on at the time Everyone, have an enjoyable season!! Church

Jeremy-the illegal holds called were-front headlock without an arm (not a choke) I have the video and I did have an arm, also he shot in on my leg and lifted it and it touched my back leg, when an offense wrestler bring a limb into contact with another limb you do not punish the defensive wrestler, my foot was in front of my other leg not behind it so I could not have applied any pressure for a scissor or a figure four. In my opinion, Sauder was wrong on both of the calls he made. Stalemates are a judgment call, but he made the wrong call on calling those illegal holds.

Travis I have had the experience of your "front headlock" and it goes across the throat every time I think it is the cage fighting in your blood it just comes natural to you, and the scissor you were clinging on like a leach so that call could have gone either way.

haha or just Travis natural tendency to be a little bad ass. I say that with all due affection and respect. One nice thing about Travis, no matter what it is, it will be all the way to the wall. This meet sounded like a lot of fun. Lots of memories in some of those names and some of those memories weren't all that much fun at the time :)).

It was so awesome! The place went NUTZ when Cokely was pinned. All in all it was a great time! Best move of the night was probably Kenny's "No touch" otherwise known as a Super duck!
