I want to put a word in for Paulie Hansen...3X state champ...3X Bobcat Champ...

Sorry, but we keep talking a lot about MO kids...but the KS boys are just as tough.

well I mentioned the Andale kids, Boaz Beard and Caldwell and all the Goddard guys. It doesn't get any better than those guys were. Lots of good wrestlers have made their way through this meet from lots of states. You bet the Kansas kids have been great. For sure Paulie was great. Sure no one is trying to slight any of them no matter what state they are from. If you go back a few pages you will see we talked about the Abilene kids, and several others.

Lapaglia is fun to watch for sure but maybe not so much fun to wrestle.
My son wrestled him twice in high school, once at Bobcat in the bracket Brewer won. What a bracket. My son had to earn his medal that day for sure but I guess you always have to at the Bobcat. Lapaglia had the nastiest Nelson series of any kid my son ever wrestled.
No, I am sure he was fun to wrestle.

Some kids are just relaxed out there and it is fun to watch them when they are. Roberson was like that to the max. He didn't miss an opening and this kid doesn't either. Lapaglia will have to temper that a bit at the next level, but man he is fun to watch right now. Move up in class and those guys make you pay for high risk moves but hey, maybe they won't, maybe he just keeps right on doing it. I remember when they used to say Rory Cajoi couldn't leg it up in college like he did in high school. He was a three time All American so what did they know right?
