The Chieftains had a pair of wrestlers earn individual titles at the 16-team tournament. Clayton Himpel (132 pounds) and Asher Huseman (152) won their respective weight classes, going 4-0 and 3-0, respectively. Himpel's first win of the day was the 100th of his career. He now owns a 103-18 career record.
