Yes we will be having another tourney February 17th. Registration is on trackwrestling. This is my first attempt at using track for portions of running a tourney so should anyone see anything out of whack let me know please. We will be using 4 person pools to give everyone 3 matches (competition pending).
To anyone that may be interested, I don't have any affiliation with the Osage club, but I can tell you that the concessions were remarkable, State qualifier level competition, and hospitality A+ - Good tournament

Your flyer says you are limiting entries to the first 200. Is that accurate? With those numbers I can't believe that you can get 4 man round robins without combining 3-4 weight classes being that there are 94 weight classes to fill. The math doesn't work.
I agree with Jimmy tho that it was a well ran tourney but the numbers need to be increased for the level of competiton to remain the same as the last event... the King of the Ring is the day before.
How many surfaces will you be running with that number of entries? Are you willing to take more entries than 200?
Thanks!
Scott

There are no losers in wrestling ...only winners & learners!
Scott. You are correct sir. I am bumping it up to 300. I originally didnt want to go too large in case I found myself swamped the night before trying to figure out trackwrestling and would have had to "hand-Jam" a bunch of brackets. But am feeling more comfortable and have some trackwrestling I.T dudes backing me. I dont want to exceed 300 though as it becomes too crowded in our small gym and want everyone to come back. Planning 4/5 surfaces. Hope to see you all there!!!
Bumpin myself back up front!!! I got hotdogs, I got medals, I got pizza, pulled pork bbq, and certified refs. What I dont have is enough wrestlers!!!! Sign up. Spend the day in lovely Osage City....What else are you going to do? Football is over!!
By split are you referring to Open in morning/Novice afternoon or an Open/Novice tourney? It is an open/novice tourney. Give your wrestler a grade via track. i.e. A=state B=places C=average D=novice.
I will seperate them as best I can competition pending and keep Novice with Novice only.
Hope that helps answer your question sir and hope to see you there
