Blah blah blah.....give it a rest.

this is exactly the attitude that has kept Kansas behind other states and allowed KSHSAA to limit our kids' opportunities compared to other states

Can't speak for everyone in the state of Kansas, but I know the "time on the field opportunities" my kid has had is staggering.

You have no idea how much more opportunity there is to compete and "get better", in other states. When I moved up here from Oklahoma I was appalled at what I could NOT do with my High School Athletes, especially in regards to Freestyle and Greco

If you feel you or your kid has somehow been shortchanged in his/her field time it's time to look in the mirror. Don't leave it to some government hack to dictate how much time a kid can train at anything.

First of all I take my kid everywhere I can to wrestle. Secondly how do you not leave it up to a government hack...break the rules...I want the rules to change.

Also, If someone's really losing a lot of sleep over a hand full of crappy athletic scholarships, their priorities might be skewed. Teach your kid how to read and write.

I do not appreciate you insinuating that me or my kid(s) are dumb jocks.
I have some numbers to back up that we are not (if you are interested).

I am incredibly proud of our Kansas athletes. I have always thought that we are very talented and have great potential. But the bottom line is our kids do not get the same opportunities in HS athletics as kids from other states...and I would really really like to see that change,if even just a little bit.
