That would be something else if it were done in a 16 man bracket.

Would even be more impressive if we qualified all 14 in just one class, but that's not an option either.

Not every wt. class and not every regional! 4A had most filled I am sure. How many losing records advanced to state in 5A-6A?

How does a record of 5-23,5-16,9-14, 9-12, 19-20, 9-8, and 14-17 make it into a state tournament?

How does a record of 5-23,5-16,9-14, 9-12, 19-20, 9-8, and 14-17 make it into a state tournament? They place in the top four at their respective regional.

Maybe we should focus on something positive... SME wrestled a great tournament today! It was a fun meet to watch. Enjoyed watching Olathe NW send 11 kids! Coach Ufford (SME) and Coach Mesa (ONW) are doing good things.

So were there any other teams that qualified 14? How about everybody post your school if you qualified 10 or more. Regardless of Class.

Just tired of the larger classes making a big deal out of qualifiing a lot of kids when the smaller classes have to qualify differently than they do. Personaly, (opinion) I think they should have 2 state tournaments a upper and lower 1 and 2 of each regional go. I think all would agree-That would Be a STATE tournament!

AND--I did what I could do find competition for MY kids. I don't think anyone can dispute that! I can not control what other programs do for theirs. If they don't want to wrestle the best then I guess they can hide. Whatever.....! This is an opinion poll is't it? Not Just for the 5 & 6A people????

Well that would be 2 of 4! 50% Which would be better than most of the entire state wrestling teams! If we were able to enter 2 in one weight-Chappy would have another- IN ! And place in Hays! Took 4 placed 2 should have placed- can't wrestle for him -he did a "body of work". Whatever? Still I MAKE a point. Tried to get MY Son and others BEAT to get them competition to win KANSAS. I don't think a COACH will dispute that FACT-Chief

Freshaman record should be good as documented even if there was a mistake at Regional. Just because he is a 3A kid dosen't make him inelegible from a state place record-because you don't want it to be.
