Thank God we don't have to hear people complain about concession prices again, as they have now been warned..........

We have had extensive discussions about the reported events during the Salina tournament. The director wants to make this a fan friendly event within the guidelines he must operate under. Please find me at the tournament with any complaints or issues as I will be taking notes. We need arenas like this to host these events so we have to figure out a way to work together.

They will STILL complain. As I have always said, if you can't afford the concessions, you likely can't afford to be there.

Sports, no doubt you are right. This isn't a high school gym and the concessions are not being used to fund raise. This is an arena open to generate profit for its owners. These prices are pretty consistent with what you would see at a movie theatre or other arenas used to generate profits. I wanted everyone to be aware so that they would be prepared and make alternate plans if they felt they needed to. I don't want concessions to be a part of the equation whether a wrestling family attends or not.

And for parents who may have never been to Salina, please inform them that they can not bring in any outside food or drink, and that they will be searching your bags.

Leave any food you bring in the car.

Again, no one should be complaining if they know the rules ahead of time.

Biscuit & Gravy $3.00

Is that for one B&G or two? I love B&G as long as they are well prepared, so I might consider paying $3.00 for two. On the other hand, I might just stock up at the Western Sizzlin for breakfast and be good to go for the rest of the day.

It looks like they have added quite a few additional items since the Salina tournament. There are plenty of restuarants and convenience stores within a short drive of the BiCentennial Center. Hope the event goes well.

I am so disapointed, no little smokeys!

It looks like they are putting some good effort into providing plenty of options.

I think a little more effort could be put forth, by someone heading to Wild Wild West on Saturday night to recruit some waitresses. Maybe consider some matside delivery for us coaches that are stuck out there all day without a chance to go catch a bite to eat.......

Will, you asked for suggestions, and I'm throwing something out there.....

Last year we went with gray, this year black. Try to keep it from getting stale. They are fitting a little big though. Might have to work on sizing...........

If our new coach doesn't quit jacking up the look with those white boots, I am not getting a coaches' card for her next year..

That's a good one Tracy, but how are you going to explain to your wife after I tell her that you borrowed one of our hoodies the night this picture was taken???

She knows me all too well, she still think it takes 16 hours for the seeding meeting in Salina, and it cost $2400 to enter the state series.
