The Weller/Fitzgerald match was quite interesting. Final score 19-4 TF for Fitzgerald (score was discussed at scorers table long after match ended). Weller suffered some sort of rib injury early in the match. Fitzgerald proved his dominance on his feet throughout the match. Weller had Fitzgerald screaming in pain late in the match and it had to be stopped. Shortly after restart Weller was going for guillotine (legally although potentially dangerous) and again action was stopped as hometown crowd became quite irate, Fitzgerald awarded 1 point for illegal hold. Fitzgerald controls final scrambles for decisive win. The entire evening was very interesting as the excitement slowly built into a frenzied finale.
