Is the KSHSAA PlayonSports pay for view?

Is KC Metro Sports doing a internet broadcast of the 5A and 6A tournaments

Did not KC Metro Sports do a live streaming of last year's 5A and 6A State Tournaments--at least the Championship matches? Are they streaming it this year?

I don't believe it is pay per view. I can't speak for KSHSAA, but I did announce the 5/6A last year and 4A this year. The same company is doing the filming, but it is being "broadcast" through KSHSAA this year. I'm GUESSING that the reason not all classes are being done is because this company is coming from the Colorado state tournament, which is all done in one venue. It MAY be that to bring enough people/equipment to do three venues would be much too costly. They are based out of Wisconsin.

Another question could be; why isn't another company coming forth to do the 5/6A tournament like has been done for years in 321 and for a couple of years in 5/6A?

I'm in no way representing KSHSAA with my thoughts. Just an observation from a different view.

I tried to open a Playon broadcast of an event in another state. After I selected the event a page with "subscribe now" came up. Think it was $3.00 for one day, and then other prices for longer periods.

The announcement for the Ks 4A tournment indicated you could select the mat.match you wanted to see. Pictures were bright and clear-Don't know if they were true telecast or streaming.

You know what? It would be nice to have live streaming of the 5A/6A meet.
