With the weather the way it is most schools in Pioneer league have had to cancel competitions and not likely to reschedule as the Pioneer League Meet is this next Sat. Not to say that snow storms or nasty weather couldn't happen in Nov & Dec but less likely with current weather trends in the last 10 years. Too late for my son but this really needs to be moved to the early season or this nonsense will just crop up again in the future. Time to quit treating MS wrestling as an after thought. If the MS programs are supposed to be feeder programs for the HS teams then get serious about it or don't bother. The kids clubs especially in the Wichita area are better qualified to feed the HS programs at this point than MS in my opinion.
Truly troubled by these turn of events. AD's you should be ashamed of this as the wrestlers and their teams are the big losers in this choice to paramount basketball over wrestling.
