Really looking forward to a great Ottawa tournament!! Matrix open, Wrestlers listed........The Mat Masters crew are ready to host some good wrestling on 3/9/13.

I was just thinking the same thing - matrix has been available for almost a week, wrestler list available on Tuesday. Wish all tournaments would do this - what's the big secret?

The reason people keep it a secret is so people don't see in their bracket and then bother the tournament director to change their weight so that they don't run from people. Just my guess. This does happen

I wonder if Salina which posted their entries had this occurrence and the Ottawa fella's ought to let TD's know if this occurred. If the parents are going to complain about that they just need to enter some "unseeded" tournaments & like a poster said before.....let the bracket work itself out.

Why does a bracket need to be released before weigh ins? Just wondering......

Brackets will be released after weigh ins/scratches are completed and brackets are actually built.

So how do you see entries ? Not worried about brackets....just anybody to wrestle in HS brackets ? ......found it on track ...thanks

Just to let everyone know on the subject, there was a couple of teams and a little more individuals who wanted to change weights after the matrix and wrestlers list was released. I am one of those people who would like to see what is going on, so i say release it, that is why i did it. I also did it so teams would look and tell me when there was a legit mistake. I had a couple of teams after the wrestlers list was released that wanted to move 9 or more kids. In my opinion that was not a mistake, that was either looking for better competition or running and hiding. 2 weeks away from subs, parents know what weight they are wrestling. With all this being said, The Ottawa Mat Masters want to thank everyone who came to the tournament and help support our program. Thanks to Joe Knecht for the trackwrestling help, Thanks to the referees. I did not recieve one complaint on the referees all day. Im sorry we had to turn some wrestlers away due to the numbers. Wish we could have accomodated everyone but the facility would not allow us to. I have a lost and found box at the house and will be posting on here incase any of you are missing any thing. Give me until tomorrow to get it posted.
