Some very interesting seeds in this tournament, and many others that make no sense...

Could someone tell me what the wrestle in match is about and why it happens? Why in HWT bracket is the number 1 seed having to wrestle in. Thanks Josh Parker

Unless I am missing something, i dont see the HWT or any other brackets where the #1 seed is wrestling in. In the HWT bracket Dominque Bradley (MIZZ) 35-1 is the #1 seed, and he does not have a wrestle in, he faces Stryker Lane (CORN) 20-12 in the first round of bracket.

Theres 33 guys at each weight. Think of it like a big 64 man bracket they just aren't writing the byes in. They do the seeds then draw the rest of the bracket out. Some guys are lucky enough to get a match in the first round.

Why is steiber seeded 1 over maple both are undefeated and maple returning all-american at that weight. Steiber also placed at weight but was below maple who was 4th.

I wondered about that too and I'm guessing it has something to do with H. Steiber have more quality wins than Kendrick.
