Congrats to Calvin Ochs on the runner up at senior nationals... #2 in the national senior class. State championship, Rocky Mountain nationals champion and nhsca senior nationals runner up... Not bad for a guy from a small town western Kansas town.

Agreed Alex. From a Facebook post of mine yesterday...
"For those of you that support him, but don't know that much about the sport I want to point out to you what Calvin Ochs has already accomplished. Kendrick Maple (OU) won a division I national championship this year. Tyler Caldwell (OSU) finished third behind the match of the century, Dake and Taylor. NEITHER of those Kansas wrestlers made it to the Senior High School National finals. They both finished third.
He is the 14th Kansan to make it to the finals in the 23 years of the tournament. Only two from the NWKL have... Scott Urban and Kelly Gabel. If he were to win it tomorrow he'd be the only one from the NWKL, and only the 8th in all of Kansas to accomplish that."
