Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion Freestyle/Greco Freestyle Tournament in Manhattan!

The MHK Freco club WILL be hosting a Freestyle tournament - with the option of Greco Exhibition Matches on Sunday, April 21st beginning at 10am

The purpose of this tournament is to get the wrestlers some mat time before FS/GR State in Hutchinson

The entries will be limited to 100 wrestlers

Home weigh ins on Saturday, April 20th

I Augusta will be there. I will have a number of entries after our first practice.

Working on getting this added to the calendar and will attach a tournament flyer

Southwest Kansas will be bringing some kids up. More info on the numbers we will bring next week.

Will this be Cadet and Junior age groups only?

The tournament will be for all age groups.

We only have room for 100 wrestlers - please get your entries in early

There will also be a clinic at 9:30 wrestling will begin at 10

Do you have any university entries for this event?

No, we only have as high as junior

We still have room for wrestlers. Our deadline is Wednesday night. We are able to take up to 100 wrestlers - at this point, we have openings for about 40 more.

Cost is $20

Home Satellite Weigh-Ins on Saturday

Instructional Clinic will be held at 9:30am
Wrestling will begin at 10:00am

Bring Coolers as we will not have concessions

Bring Lawnchairs for matside seating

Round Robin Format - purpose is to get mat time prior to FS/GR State
