As we get ready to start the JR finals in Greco, I could not be much happier! The JR's will have 5 All-Americans!!

In Cadet's we only managed one Kansan in the AA rounds. While 5 is not a record it is respectable!!

It's Time!!

Junior 152 Finals (Bout 3554 M 1) - Andrew Millsap (Kansas) vs. Jon Jay Chavez (Idaho)

Hand-fighting early ... nearly the high dive by Millsap ... snapped down by Chavez with a 2 on 1 for the TD with exposure and then quickly a couple of turns ... it is over quickly ... the winner is Chavez.

Junior 170 Finals (Bout 3562 M 1) - Chandler Rogers (Washington) vs. Jared Johnson (Kansas)

Let's do this!! Jared is taken down by Rogers but has good gut defense ... Jared is pushed out ... gives a TD and then a gut ... winner of the match in Rogers from WA.

One of my favorites for years is Jared Johnson is an outstanding young man from an outstanding family!! Last year he was disappointed with his performance but this year ... his Fargo trip showed his abilities very well!!

A runner-up in the JR Nationals Greco tournament ... Jared Johnson is an All-American!!

Spencer Wilson is a great story! Back several months ago, he was in a terrible accident and at the time some thought his wrestling career may be over but today, Spencer is an All-American at Fargo!!

Match #10 Spencer Wilson (Kansas) over Aaron Rothwell (Wisconsin) Fall 1:45

Spencer is your, latest All-American, placing 5th!

Nathan Butler is the epitome of a student-athlete! Next year, he takes his talent for both to Stanford!! He has been the anchor for many Team Kansas showings and he did that again this year!

Nathan dominates his opponent and claims 5th in the JR Nationals! It is a special feat for him as he also came back from an injury in last years tourney. Nathan Butler is an All-American!!
