The Derby Wrestling Club as well as USAW Kansas Kids and District II have lost a valuable contributor today with the loss of Coach Skip Harrington.

Information regarding the service will be forthcoming as it becomes available.

Please keep the Harrington and Shavlik families in your prayers.

My thoughts are with all the family. Skip will be missed.

Are you making a POSITIVE difference in the life of kids?

Skip might have been the most colorful and dedicated supporter of Kansas wrestling ever. I looked forward to seeing him and listening to his stories. My thoughts and prayers to Eddie, Cindy, Jeff and all of the grand kids. The Cokeleys will miss Skip and wrestling has lost a great contributor to the sport.

Had a lot of fun coaching against Skip and always enjoyed his interactions with the kids. He was a welcoming and encouraging presence for all wrestlers regardless of their team affiliation. My best to the family.....
