On December 1st at Parson HS we will be holding a Bronze level clinic. I am working on getting it put on the calendar!

On December 8th will be a clinic at Saint Thomas Aquinas in Overland Park!

Both clinics will start at 10 am and last till 5 pm! The cost is $60.00. The host club will offer a light meal and accept donations to cover their costs!!

On Sunday, January 19th, Scott City will host a Bronze level clinic!!

a clinic is being planned in Manhattan and Augusta but have not been confirmed!

One change to this years structure involves the testing!! All coaches are required to go on-line to complete the test.

Coaches will be independently responsible for their certification after taking the clinic!! The hope is to streamline the process and eliminate a couple of possible hurdles.

Hey I was wanting to attend December 8 at STA, is there anything i need to do prior like sign up or register? I already completed background and have copy of that !

... once you have your background check, take it to your club and have them get you a Coaches Membership card!!

So I do need coaches card before I take bronze, I was told the opposite ! I will get with club . Thanks for the info Randy!

yep- when you come to the clinic you need to have proof of the back ground check and USA wrestling card has been at least applied for.

Kansas is PROUD to be USA Wrestling's #1 State in the number of Bronze Coaches!
Coaches are required to complete a background check every two years. Before issuing a current coaches' card, your club will require you to provide proof that you have passed the background check. The cost of the background check is $15. Here are the instructions on what you need to do to complete your background check:
1. Go to www.usawmembership.com.
2. Sign in or create a new account.
3. Click 'Profile' in the upper right corner of the screen and choose 'BG Check History' near the top of the screen. Please note that you will be required to use a different user id and password in the background check website - do not try to use your USA Wrestling user id and password.
4. After completing the background check, do not attempt to purchase a membership online. This feature is disabled for Kansas coaches.
5. After the background check is complete you will receive an email notice indicating whether or not you have successfully passed the background check. Provide this confirmation notice to the club director, who will then be able to purchase your coaches' membership from the state office.

Need a replacement certification card? The cost of a replacement card is $7.50. Please click here to submit your payment. Once you have submitted your payment information, you will automatically be redirected to the Coaches Certification Card Replacement page. Upon receipt of your request, your level of certification will be confirmed and your replacement card will be sent out. Please expect two to three weeks before you will receive your new card.

Sorry but we still have a few clubs telling the coaches a WRONG order!

First, background ... Second, USAW Coaches Membership card ... Third, take the Bronze level clinic ... Finally, pass the on-line test with USA Wrestling!

We are excited that the Augusta Club is stepping forward and offering their facilities!

February 9th, 2014 at 10 am! The cost of the clinic is $60 and the duration is 7 hours. The host club will offer a light meal and will accept donations for the same!!

How do I register in advance ? I have print out of background but coach slyter ordered my card but not received it yet is that ok?

Pretty good turnout 50 coaches today at STA. Heading out to feed the hungry new coaches now and listen to the Chiefs game.
