Bo Pursel is currently on the rodeo team at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College.

Maybe Coach Renfro can talk him into joining the wrestling team for the second semester!

I think Bo was seriously considering it, until he found out they wouldnt allow him to wrestle with his cowboy hat on!

The Demand for a place to wrestle in college is high for Kansas high school wrestlers still.

I am surprised at the relative lack of interest this thread received in comparison to the threads regarding D-1 and D-2 wrestlers here in Kansas. I assumed since we had more NAIA programs in the state with more wrestlers in the programs, and more NAIA wrestlers overall that the; parents, former coaches, former teammates, fans etc. would make this an extremely active topic and make for a comprehensive list. Sadly, this has not been the case.

I know, for instance, that information was never provided on Cushing and Ambrose who wrestle for Benedictine. I also suspect there are probably some more names who are not yet on this list.

I don't really have a dog in this fight, but i am curious as to why there seems to be less interest in an area where, statistically, there should be more.

Well, I am not sure who Cushing and Ambrose are, but I do know you are forgetting one Kansas name out of the Benedictine room.

NAIA Schools will hold their regional qualifiers this weekend. Many of our Kansas wrestlers will be in action seeking to qualify for the national tourney which takes place in Topeka this year.
