It is a pool format. They seed it and then the top half of the bracket is one pool and the bottom half is another pool. The two pool winners wrestler for 1-2, the two pool runner-ups for 3-4, etc. They give bonus points in the pools and placement and bonus points in the placing round for 1-4 places.
Anyway, at 170 in pool a Wiesner tech falled Page, Page pinned Parenti, Parenti pinned Wiesner. So that was a three way tie in that pool. The tie-breaking criteria led to Page as the pool winner, Parenti second in the pool, and Wiesner as the thrid place finisher in the pool. Wiesner placed 5th overall after beating Mullin in the 5th place match.
