It should be noted that if the defensive wrestler causes his return to "forceful" it should be considered that the offensive wrestler's actions were not an illegal move but the defensive wrestler's movement caused a legal situation to become illegal. NOT a slam in that case. It is NOT the offensive wrestler's prerogative to make sure the defensive wrestler remains motionless. I think this is overlooked by most officials in cases where a defensive wrestler dives down in an attempt to get away.
