If the Minneapolis coach Brandon is referring to as "Shady and Ridiculous" was Jeff Giles, then that would be the first time he has ever been referred to in that way. Great coach by just about anybody else's standard. And having tried to whet my horns against him once, I can tell you that he could break most people west of the Mississippi in half if need be. The poor guy can't even swing a golf club right because his pecs are so big.

Him being a great guy or how big and strong he is doesn't change the fact that he lied in a seeding meeting.

I'm not questioning his coaching abilities as his athletes attest to him being a successful coach. He has tough kids on his team, but I just think that the move in the seeding meeting was not truthful and our state seeding meetings often go off of an honesty system. Track wrestling does eliminate some of that, however it is all based off of coach honesty. Other states use a database that keeps track of weigh ins (management) and records so that this is eliminated. Like I said earlier it all worked out in the end and I am over it.

The Blue Valley kid at 132# must have been tough. That's a good win over Cole from Chanute.

Sawyer Like from BVSW not only is a very good wrestler but showed one of the best acts of sportmanship Ive seen in a long while! As for Coach Giles, If he said that he thought his wrestler won then it was because he was miss informed! Ive known Giles for over 25 years and even wrestled for him, and Ive never known a man with more class than him! So as far as a liar, I think not!

Sawyer Like is the real deal. I have a couple of reasons to say just that. He is a solid wrestler and one of the best.
