I just sent back a contract to replace the tournament usually run by Kent Bailo with USGWA. He recently decided to step down and we didn't know it. We will also be hosting a tournament February 23rd which is affiliated with War of the Roses. It is taking the place of the USGWA KS girls state tournament we usually ran in February. Brent Harvey is trying to fill the void left by Kent Bailo by running these tournaments in any state wanting to host them. From my understanding he is on the women's comittee along with our state Women's director Joe Knecht. Joe can expand on this if he wants to. This will be like the USGWA tournament where girls from other states can also enter. We will still host the USAW-KS State Girls tournament in March that is already on the calendar. Both tournaments will require the entrants to be a current USAW card holder.
