I think he wont win the state title. Him and marcus herrera will be a great match at state but i think marcus will win. Marcus is undefeated right now. Herrera beat Cornejo in the state finals match last year, and Cornejo beat McCormick to go to the finals.

I bet that Tyler's going to win it this year. Aside from his little stumble last year with very little time left, he would have beaten Cornejo and then we would have had to see in the finals but I just think that with his attitude and it being his senior year, he's going to get it done.

No doubt Herrera vs. McCormick would be a very good match if the cards unfold that way, but I think I would give Herrera the upperhand. His aggressiveness & quickness on his feet will give him the match.

You guys are hurting my ears!!! First of all McCormick never should have lost that match against Herrera. Didn’t he lose in the last 20 seconds of the match or something? I kind of remember McCormick dominated Herrera for most of the match and losing in the last 20 seconds. Somebody help me out. I can’t really remember.
ENJOY!!!

You guys have it all wrong. For one thing, McCormick did not stick Herrera last year. I believe they wrestled at the leavenworth tourny last year at the beginning of the year with McCormick winning by a point of two( it was Herrera's first match in HS). At state McCormick lost to Cornejo from Wichita West (3-1), Cornejo won with about 10 seconds left on a takedown. In the finals, Herrera beat Cornejo 4-0. Also, Hill wrestled 125 last year not 119.

I think Hill pinned Herrera last year at 125.

Wrestling20 your facts are not correct. McCormick also met Herrera at Junction City. McCormick won by fall.

Wrestler20, One more point - Cornejo did win in last few seconds with a score of 2-1.

My bad on that. I forgot about JC tourny. Yes Hill pinned Herrera at 125 when he didn't make weight i'm guessing. um Sherlock, I think that I did state that he won in the last seconds of the match and it was 3-1
