What about Kyle Flory from Baldwin, runner up at 171 last year. And what do you think about team rankings in 4a?

I believe he is going to drop to 160 if he can, but most likely he'll be at 171 again.

Last year Grant from Eudora, Hinton 4A state champ from Baldwin and Kimzey from prairie view were all in the frontier league. Kimzey won the league title with a 5-4 win over Hinton. DelToro of Royal Valley beat Kimzey for third place in the 3A tourney. Therefore I pick DelToro to win 4A 275 state title. Might I also add that DelToro was only a sophomore and wrestling for just his second year, he stands to continue improving.

there is a bunch of good wrestlers at 4a. 4a is probably the toughest group in kansas and what not. ne ways i think that some underdogs will make something happen this year so watch out.

kimzey beat grant, hinton, and del toro. pinned del toro at regionals last year, so he could easily win state. he works so hard in practice and the off season. he'll be ready.

For all of you predicting Grater at 135 and Pruser at 140 it will be the other way around. Jordan Close will be 125. What about Derek Corral at 160 I think he will be a top contender.

i dunno. those predictions are close. but i think by the time febuary roles around there will be some different thoughts. i believe that cody hamilton will be in the finals at 103 who killed deeds last year. galemore from chanute has came around this smmer after wrestling freestyle with teamate shields.galemore obviously a better wrestler than shields will be tough at 140 and 145 or 52.shields has on e weapon which is strength but that wont wim a stae title. wrestlers like wiscombe and taplin who have a combiation of weapons will be fun to watch. the middle weights will be tough. at 119 or 25 i see bowan from columbus in the finals. he has put his time in on the mat and this could be his year. but the thoughts posted are accurate.

Prater beat Bowman and will do it again. Bowman and Cagle went back and forth last year, very exciting to watch always high scoring. You also have Close but the one that might mess up all their plans is Joey Hershey. Mulvane is back in 4A and his shoulder is fixed so 125 could be a fun weight to watch.

Did everyone just forget about Medill from Lansing? He did take second last year at 160, and his only loss on the year was in the finals in overtime. He is the last person I would overlook when making a list like this. Just thought I would refresh some memories
