Kansas City, Mo. – Newman’s Dustin Reed has been named the MIAA Wrestler of the Week.

Year: Sophomore - Reed was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler at the Jet Invite after winning the 125 lb. class. in the championship match, Reed defeated No. 4-ranked Garrett Evans of Ouachita Baptist by a 4-3 decision. He finished at 3-0 with all three victories by decisions. The sophomore is a native of Colby, Kan. where he competed at Colby High School.
