I saw recently that Coach Jon Lippelmann of Scott City fame reached an incredible milestone....300 dual wins! (am I correct?)
If so, are there any sort of coaching records compiled for this type of thing? I wonder how many other KS coaches have achieved this?
Any info out there anyone?
This is awesome achievement for a great man & coach!

The Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association has been keeping track of this 300-wins milestone for the past several years. We started giving out awards for 300 Dual Wins when we had our first one reported to us several years ago!
Here is the list in the season order that they hit #300:
1) Dennis Switzky (Seaman and Royal Valley), 318 wins/108 losses (retired)
2) Tim Serbousk (Blue Valley NW) 329-147-1 (active)
3) Rick Langerot (Mulvane) 321-246-3 (active)
4) Dusty Rhodes (Douglass) 305-137-3 (active)
5) Brian Shelton (Valley Center) 315-79 (active)
6) Doug Vander Linden (Burlington) 314-150-4 (active)
7) Jon Lippelmann (Scott City) 302-149-4 (active)

I honestly did a LOL on DeWitt's comment! I know for a fact that John has "forgotten" his sport coat on more than one occasion at the state tournament! And his wife Marilyn brings it to him or buys him another one. That's pretty good stuff. Rick Cue
