Hats off to James Cook and crew. Well run event and always outstanding matches and wrestlers.

Good luck to the wrestlers in Iowa...some of those teams the kids put together today are going to compete very well!

Yes thank you all that helped. I see kids wrestle 2 to 3 times as hard here than any where. They want to make in on a team.

The Kansas Middle School Championships hosted by James Cook (tournament director) & the entire teams that assisted in making this the Stellar tournament it is is fantastic & a terrific experience for 6-8th graders.

Year #3 & my son looks forward to the competition each year. The comraderie in the state dual team & friendships your children make are lifetime memories!

Highly suggest participating in this great opportunity next year & in the future.

Thanks to Everyone
involved!

Couldn't agree more. Tough and fun wrestling to the watch for 2 straight days at smoky valley. In my opinion everything flowed pretty smooth on Saturday for the west district 3 tournament and I believe they were done by 2 o'clock even with Abilene and clay center added to the tournament and as always since it was first started there the middle school state championships were worth the price of admission. I know that wrestling fans of the state of Kansas will be proud of the talent that is being sent to Iowa to represent us. Was also glad to see that their hospitality hasn't changed for the coaches, refs, and table workers. Their hospitality room is second to none, love those chips and hot sauce . Keep up the good I mean great work Smoky Valley Wrestling Club and the other wrestling clubs that also pitched in. We will definitely be back. You know what I am saying

Great tournament and even better experience. I loved it the first year it was put together and was happy my son had the chance to wrestle there.

Is there a list of teams and alternates that go to Iowa ? I know the top six go in each weight plus alternates. I am always amazed at how smooth Middleschool State runs and how organized going to Iowa flows. Kudos to all coaches and parents involved.
