LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — Four people were flown to treatment after a boat ran aground in the narrow, western part of the Lake just after midnight.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 41-year-old Ryan Johnson, of Paola, Kan., was driving a 2015 Malibu 23LSV westbound at the 85 Mile Marker, at 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 7. The boat ran aground and crashed into a tree, according to the report, seriously injuring four people, who were all flown to treatment:
