I was checking results on TW for the Paola Tournament and it appears that something went technologically south. There were no results past the first round in session 1 and not much in session 2. I would have liked to been there in person to watch some great wrestling but I couldn't.

There was an announcement over the PA system at Gunsmoke that TW's servers had "crashed". They made the decision to record bouts the old fashioned way, then they entered them into TW as the brackets were completed. Looks like several other tournaments did the same.

Derby had the same problem. I'm sure all tourneys kept thinking that Trackwrestling Central would get it fixed, but eventually Derby went to paper bout sheets and things went smoothly until Track was up and running again. I hope everyone understands that it was NOT the tourney's fault, it was Trackwrestling's fault. I'm sure it will be fixed in the near future. Might be a little bit of a wakeup call to have "paper bout sheets" on hand just in case. Derby used the "offline" version to keep score, time, and bout number on the clocks. I'm sure if they knew how long the problem was going to last, they would have switched sooner, but we were still out of there by 6:00.

Probably some cyber attack by a group that hates wrestling. Thanks for the feedback. I became a huge TW fan when I was deployed and got to follow my son's matches near real time from 7 hour time zones away.

It is a good idea to have back up plan.

I heard it was the traffic on the server watching the open in Vegas this weekend. Not good when FloArena is now in competition with them, but they had their own set of problems this weekend as well.
