Ark City High School Hosts the KSOK State Champ Camp July 8,9,10. We will have current and former Oklahoma State Wrestlers as Clinicians and counselors. We have had a great turn out our first two years. Great camp for a very reasonable price. All details for this years camp have not been finalized yet but will be in the next two weeks.

Here is a link for the brochure about last year's Council Grove Camp:

It's an awesome camp and the price is amazing.

I'm sure Doug VanderLinden would be more than happy to get you info on his takedown league - its a great opportunity every Wednesday night. I wish I could get some kids up there for that one.

We also like to go down to NEO in Miami, OK. It's a three day two night team camp for $150 per wrestler. Covers meals, stay in the dorms, and a tshirt. Great camp clinicians, lots of live wrestling.

Do you by chance know when the NEO camp is?

I don't... The only info on their website is for last year's camp which was Tuesday June 9 - Thursday Jun 11. If I remember right the 2014 camp was that same week in June.

I would also recommend the NEO camp- we went last summer. Price is great, was able to get 22 kids to go- and before only had 6-10 attend the pricier camps. Coach Renfro did a great job with it. Kids got better and we got home before we were sick of staying in the dorms or of eachother!

Last Summer we took 36 kids to Gunnison, CO for camp at Western State. It is well worth the time investment....great competition and a great life experience for our kids.

The fact that girls are forced to wrestle at state in the middle of the week is laughably sexist.
