Not loving any of these except 138. Looks like the BVSW regional is being discounted pretty heavily. Only 6 finalist from that regional and two champs. 1/3 of the predicted finalist being at 285. 16 finalist from the Andover regional...

Hard to believe none of you picked Moon 170. He is going to be the all time wins leader before the finals. He also hasn't given up a takedown or reversal in two years. Plus he has beat everyone in that weight.

He has the record already...according to the state brackets his career record is 185-12 going into the tournament surpassing Chase Nitcher's 179 career win record.

I stand corrected. I assumed the records on the previous brackets were before the tournament so I believe I inflated his total by several wins and two losses. He is 175-10 which would leave him falling one win shy of Mr Nitcher, I believe. Maybe someone else should verify! LOL

TRACKWRESTLING STATE BRACKETS
2013 42-7 2nd Place 6A 126
2014 43-3 3rd Place 6A 152
2015 47-0 1st Place 6A 160
2016 43-0 TBD

These are his records according to what was submitted to KSHSAA at the regional tournament each year carrying the wins and losses forward from regional and state tournaments. Being a dad I know that I keep better records than most coaches and Brett's dad has 178-10 going into this weekend meaning that two wins will pass Chase Nitcher's all time wins record.

Coaches, please keep good records on your wrestlers! smile

Liles and Stuart can't be 1-2 they're on the same side of the bracket...Liles comes through with the upset in the semis

I reflected that in my predictions. I'm gonna be wrong a lot I bet but every prediction could possibly happen.

Reflect a little longer then, because there is no way that prediction can happen. They meet in the semi-finals, making it impossible to meet in the finals.

Terry has 178-10 and I am pretty sure he has been following him a lot closer and a lot longer than Vype. wink

Lautt is a whole different person when it comes to state as is everybody! His losses come from out of town. 1 of 4 losses are from the best pound for pound wrestler in the USA Mark Hall. If clay beats peters than clay will beat moon that's my prediction!

I agreed with him. I have Stuart taking 1st and Liles 3rd. I wasn't the one that messed that up. Pay attention to who posted which predictions.

Moon will win @ 170lbs. - He wrestles like a Boa Constrictor - He is methodical, steady & makes no mistakes. Nothing against Lautt, but I believe Brett will beat him more handily this time. He isn't flashy and is always meek.

Ended up with 15 finalists from Andover and 3 State Final Matches are Regional Finals Matches.

Just out of curiosity, how much did you pay your psychic for that prediction?
