With the end of folkstyle season near there are many wrestlers looking for a place to practice freestyle/Greco. I am wondering how many programs are in the Wichita area? And if there is anywhere someone could find a list?

2015 #1 Kids Freestyle and Greco Team in Kansas

Your wrestler’s season doesn't have to end in Feb or March. Our freestyle and Greco program is top notch…well to be honest the best in the state last season. Our program has wrestlers from the following teams as many of you know.

- Rose Hill
- Derby
- Kansas Young Guns
- Maize
- Winfield
- Douglass
- Mulvane
- Bishop Carroll
- Garden Plain
- Wichita
- Andover

This year we are receiving interest from McPherson and Emporia as well. Last season we had over 80+ wrestlers training and competing with us.

If you want to improve as a wrestler, learn new technique, and meet new wrestlers then this is the program for you. It is proven fact that the international styles of wrestling will further your development. Our coaching staff has competed and coached with success at the youth, high school, collegiate, and international level. Many of our coaches are head coaches within their youth programs or coach at the high school level. If wanting to help it will be subject to approval.

The plan is the following concerning practice locations

Derby High School: Tue, Wed, and Thurs (starting the Tuesday after state): 6-7:45. Each athletes parents will submit two days of practice (based on first come/first serve and training partner size availability). This will be our primary location for wrestlers that are 1st-6TH grade and some middle schoolers (based on experience).

Punisher Training Facility: Will host our middle school wrestlers (state level) and our high school wrestlers (state level) on two days per week. Our intent is to prepare and push this group to go to Fargo this summer.
