I've always believed that weight training makes for an even better explosive wrestler.

I could go into details, but it would take forever. Let's just say that typically the lifts that wrestlers hate to do the most are the most beneficial.

That means squats, deadlift, powerclean. If you aren't doing those, you're wasting your time. All other lifts are "secondary."

I don't care how much a person benches. Can they get off the mat? Can they penetrate on a double? Bench doesn't do much for that.
