The 321A Rankings have been posted.

Keep in mind I've only heard from a handful of coaches so the majority of these rankings are based off of last year's state tournament results. I've also added a few wrestlers who were out last season with injuries.

Please send any weight changes, transfers or injury information my direction for the next set of rankings.

Helms did have a win over Bradley last season. He also made it within a match of placing at state. However, Helms had 16 losses last season, with a few coming to opponents who have no experience at the state level. Those losses are holding him behind other wrestlers in the rankings.

Bradley was injured towards the end of last season when his record was (22-4). He had wins over state placer Guzman from Hesston (who beat Helms), state qualifier Gugelmeyer from Lakin (who beat Helms), and 4A state qualifier Schull from Nickerson (who beat Helms). Bradley made it within one match of placing at state in 2015.

It would have been great to watch Bradley and Helms matchup at Pratt this last weekend to help prove it on the mat this season. They'll have a chance to see each other again on Jan. 12 at the Hoisington Dual Tournament. For the time being Bradley has a better body of work which puts him above Helms despite the one head-to-head win.

132lbs is going to be fun to watch this year at state if all of these guys stay at that weight.

Yes, that was another win I forgot to include since it wasn't part of the head-to-head comparison. Beating a state runner-up and currently top ranked 6A wrestler is another reason why Bradley deserves to be ranked in 321A.

The 321A Rankings are updated for December 13, 2016.

Things are starting to shake out a little better. For the 3rd year in a row 138 looking like the toughest weight in 321A. There are currently 8 returning state placers and 6 returning state qualifiers at that weight class.
