Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School State Weigh Ins - Two day Proposal Changes

At a minimum I propose they change it to a two day formula. At least for those wrestling on the backside. (I can live with the finalists weigh in the night prior. They earned that) I could live with Finalists on day to also.

But the back side. My perception the kids that were hurting due to weight cuts on day one wrestled much much better on day two.

The NFHSAA rule is to weigh on day 2.

This is very valid. They should weigh in on day 2.

So Kansas doesn't follow the National standard? Or did Kansas adopt a different standard? I know this was a hot topic. I honestly don't know the Kansas position.
