Many people have reached out to me saying they think Washburn Rural might go totally undefeated at state this year. Since they have 10 qualifiers, that would mean 10 state champs. Has that ever happened, or will Rural be the first team ever to have double digit state champs in one year?

I'd say no, since half of them lost their opening match?? Sounds like "many people" may have jumped the gun a bit on their predictions.

Yeah, lots of upsets in the first round, it was unfortunate. Still hopeful that they'll get five champs and KSHSAA will step in for the other five and declare them rightful champs after they make their way to through the backside and finish third.
Hearing a lot of buzz about Team Top Hat, guys (and gals). A lot of buzz.

I STRONGLY suggest they do a re-count.
The fact that girls are forced to wrestle at state in the middle of the week is laughably sexist.
