I'm trying to lock down the locations and practice details for this year's Regional Training Centers across the state. I currently have information for the locations below. Please contact me if you are planning to host an RTC or if you are interested in finding one in your area.

Wamego will be conducting practice starting March 28th from 6-7:30/8:00 we will practice Tuesdays, Wednesday's and Thursdays until the State Tournament then will drop down to Tuesdays and Thursdays until Southern Plains. If you have a USA Card you are welcome. Feel free to contact me at ChrisStivers1@yahoo.com if you questions. This is not a RTC but as I said all USA Card holders are welcome.

Hoxie will have RTC practices on Sundays from 5-6:30pm through March then we will go two nights a week after that, not sure what nights yet we will see what works best for those attending.

USAWKS will once again offer FREE Freestyle and Greco Training Centers this Spring and Summer to prepare our Kansas Athletes for upcoming local Freestyle/Greco Tournaments as well as State, Southern Plains, Schoolboy Duals, Cadet Duals, Junior Duals, Kids Nationals and Cadet/Junior Nationals. RTC's will start the week of March 27. Each wrestler must provide their USA Card at the first training session. Training Center Sites are listed below. Leavenworth RTC tonight 6-7:30 hosted at Leavenworth High School. Enter through the steel doors on the NE side of the building, through the small gym. No charge, but need to bring USAWKS card number. All ages and ability levels welcome.

Which RTC's count for the discounts?

MRTC has added Monday Nights to the schedule as well. 6pm in Clay Center at the High School Wrestling Room.

Mondays Clay Center 6 pm
Wednesdays Riley County 6 pm

I have heard through the grape vine that Hays will have Freestyle/Greco practice Tuesday and Thursday 5-6:30 at FHSU.

Tonight's RTC at Olathe South is cancelled (4/18). We will resume on Thursday night. I apologize for any inconvenience.

There will be no Greco RTC at Leavenworth High School tomorrow night. We will be running one Thursday from 6-7:30 instead. All are welcome. This is the last chance to brush up on skills prior to the weekends FS/Greco State Tournament.

RTC at Riley County will be at Cat Cans on Green Valley Drive on Wednesday Night at 5:30. Sorry for the late notice, we will resume regular times and place next week.

Is McPherson RTC Thursday or Wednesday nights? Looking for Wichita area practice tonight

The Olathe South RTC will adjust their schedule in the next two weeks.

First, there will be no RTC at OSHS on 5/23 & 5/25 due to Final Exams.

RTC's will resume the following Tuesday (5/30), but will change practice time to 3:00-4:30. Practices will continue every Tuesday & Thursday from 3:00-4:30 through the first week in July.

The SMW RTC has wrapped up for the season and we are planning to send our kids to the other RTCs for the rest of the spring and summer.
It was a good inaugural season for some of the more novice FS/GR wrestlers in the area. We averaged about 20-30 kids every night including elementary, middle, and high school student athletes.
