Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School Thunderbird Technique/Competition Camp Update

We have gotten quite a few inquiries and a lot of interest in regards to this, and have decided to add duals to this year’s camp! See the link below for the schedule!

Each morning session will consist of technique/drilling/sparring with a new clinician(s) featured

Afternoon and evening sessions will consist of dual meets (tournament)

Camp will conclude with a morning technique session, and an individual takedown tournament following technique on the final day

*Team Championship award, and individual awards will be presented following the dual meet tournament, and the takedown tournament

*Individual entrants are welcome and will be placed on a team that has a vacancy at that weight

*Exhibitions are welcome, and encouraged!


Resident Cost: $200 (includes meals, and lodging)
Commuter Cost: $120 (meals can purchased separately. Contact us about our other commuter options)

We have added two new clinicians to our camp line-up:

Kyle Evans- Head Assistant Coach at the University of Central Oklahoma, 2X NCAA II National Champion, and 4X NCAA II All-American

Tim Urenda- Head Assistant Coach at Neosho County Community College.

On top of the two clinicians mentioned above, we have added a third clinician today!

Coach Andrew Nicola, the Head Coach at Concordia University Nebraska will be joining us for a technique session as well!
