I have had the privilege of serving USAW-Kansas for nearly 30 years! The last 20, among my duties, I have been the Coaches Education and Development manager. That reign has come to a close!
At our State Body meeting this past weekend, Bobby Bovaird, has been selected to fill that seat!! Bobby is a great young man who has a passion for education. I am positive he will do a great job!!
For the balance of this year, I will still facilitate a lot of our clinics. Often, Bobby will take the lead and I will be in an advisory position.
You will begin seeing less of me but I will not be gone!! I was elected by USAW-Kansas to fill the position of KWCA representative and College liaison!
These past 20 years have been fantastic! I have had the privilege of certifying more than 3,500 of you at the Bronze Level!! If you add to that number a few hundred coaches from around the Nation and a few hundred I have met at the Copper level, I have exceeded one of my personal goals! That goal was, to make a positive impact in the life of people!!
I have told my stories, shared USA Wrestling's agenda, driven a few miles, made a ton of friends and laughed a lot!! Some, didn't drink the Kool-aid ... most did! I am humbled and grateful.
