How did McPherson fall to 10th after being 7th last week? They beat Tonganoxie at The Colby Duels, outscored Abilene at their own tournament, beat El Dorado at their place and Finished second at The Rose Hill Invintational. I know the rankings are just for fun, but how do you go backwards when you are winning? McPherson is 13-1 in duals with the only loss to Valley Center by 6 points and they have placed well at all their tournaments considering they are a 4A school going against 5A & 6A most of the time. Just my two cents. Thank you for all you do!

The rankings are solely for the purpose of what points will be scored at the state tourney not duels or tournaments you may have beaten a team at.

We do team rankings based off a point system we have in place for kids ranked and what they are ranked. Also adding "bonus pts" for a few others we have in our list of kids at each weight just below the top 6.
Hope that helps explain somewhat.

That was my fault when I was adjusting the spreadsheet. I forgot to insert the correct 152 pound wrestler. I was going to move Parenti (Ottawa) in at 6.
