With no champions, but nine All Americans, NEO walked away with their third National Title in the last five years. They were propelled to the title with a total team effort. This is certainly a tribute to the coaching and recruiting of Head Coach Joe Renfro, a Kansas native and past head coach at LCC.
Renfro has now led teams to six NJCAA titles. Three at Labette Community College and now three at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. One Kansas wrestler, Boo Dryden, place fourth at 125 for NEO.
