Every year, the Elementary and Middle School Dual teams coordinators struggle to get paperwork for kids that are a member of Team Kansas, many who wait until the last minute, and some who say they are going, then never go, leaving the coordinators literally hours for find a replacement.
Do them a favor and fill out the paperwork (only 3 easy pages) completely, enclose a grade card showing what grade they are in, a copy of your insurance card, and of course payment.

And if you qualified for the team, please realize how important an event like this can be for your kid's development as a wrestler. I've seen many a kid "grow up" at events like this. Competing and/or realizing they CAN compete at events like this gives kids confidence, and motivation to keep climbing that wrestling hill. I haven't seen the singlets yet, but I'm sure the crew is working on something cool. Just wearing a "Team Kansas" singlet puts a little extra hop in a kids' step.

So please, get these guys your paperwork early, and let's have another successful trip to Iowa. No other state brings as many kids as Kansas does. Which means these coordinators are doing MORE than any other state to create these opportunities for our kids. Let's show them some respect and get your paperwork to them without waiting until the last minute.

Where do you get a grade card from?

A lot of schools will let you get a PIF online. (Pupil Identification Form). If yours doesn’t, I would shoot the teacher or principal an email.

I ask parents bring the paper work with them to Middle School State.

Grade card, copy of insurance card, and copy birth certificate.

Then all they have to do is fill the paper work out and then pay.
The cost this year for both Elementary and Middle School is $250.

The million dollar question. What do thebsinglets look like? My son is not going, but I always look forward to seeing how cool they are.

I'm sure they have something cool up their sleeve. Dal and James will post them as soon as they are finalized.

The singlets didn't turn out as nice as we thought so we have proposed some changes and are hoping to have something in the next week or so.

Any updates on the singlets?
