I know its early but does anyone have any information on this tournament . I havnt seen a flyer yet and was courious to how large it might be or how many 40lbs might be expected to participate in this event. thanks any info would be helpful

How does the 6/U championship tournament work? Is it the same day as sub district or district? Thanks for any information.

Do you have to be from a Kansas club to enter? When is the deadline to sign up? Can you go to 8 and under state and 6 and under too? What are you doing for awards, trophies? Big Medals? Plaques? What? Are you putting a limit on kids? Are you going to be strict at weigh'in? What about the refs? Thanks.

Can you wrestle sub-districts at 8 and under and if you don't place in the top 4 and advance to districts can you then enter the 6 and under district championships? If so, can we sign up at Pittsburg for the 6 and under championships?

I guess I will try and respond to some of the questions about this event. First, it is an absolute separate tournament handled exclusively by Ottawa Mat Masters. Whether you wrestle in the sub-district has no bearing at all on your qualification for this tourney. You must follow the entry guidelines established by Ottawa Mat Masters.
From talking to Rick Croucher, I feel they are trying to do the event up right! I think that you won’t be disappointed!

As far as I know, it is an OPEN and un-restricted tournament for all that qualify.
