Maize "Battle of the Belt" 2019 - Feb. 2, 2019 #251793 12/13/18 02:08 PM Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 535 Likes: 4 Wichita, KS Derek Patterson Member Derek Patterson Member Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 535 Likes: 4 Wichita, KS The Maize Wrestling Club will once again be hosting it's annual "Battle of the Belt" on Saturday, February 2nd at the Kansas Star Arena. Open, Girl's, and Novice Divisions Hasty Awards has done an amazing job updating our championship belts, as well as our placement medals (see below for this year's belts). RUDIS will have their onsite store set up again this year, with tons of awesome gear! New floor layout revisions will cut down on some of the floor traffic, as well as increase the viewing capabilities of the spectators. We are also offering early weigh-ins, specifically to cut down on our total number of satellite locations. A list of all satellite locations will be posted as we get close to the tournament. If your club would like to be considered for one, please email me at maizewrestlingks@gmail.com Last year we had around 1,650 competitors, with wrestlers from 9 different states!
