Would it have made a difference to you if Tavis were a varsity kid? I don’t think it makes a difference as to what level the wrestler is… We all participate in the sport at some level to test ourselves against adversity. This is ‘Merica: JV wrestlers should have the same opportunity to exhibit studliness as the varsity kids.

That being said, I should have mentioned in the original post that the on-site trainer examined him during blood time and gave him the go-ahead to finish the match as long as he could stand the pain. I believe her exact words were “ your nose is already broken... you’re not going to break it any worse. “

The fact that girls are forced to wrestle at state in the middle of the week is laughably sexist.
