Another amazing trip to the Rocky Mountain Nationals!
Kansas won the RMN Duals for the 7th year out of 9!! We also took home the 18U Team trophy and our own Wyatt Pedigo won the 18U Outstanding Wrestler!!!!
The brackets on Saturday and Sunday were loaded with state champions. We took four titles with Wyatt Pedigo, Tony Caldwell, Owen Braungardt and Wyatt Hendrickson. Every year this trip is a huge encouragement to me. We had super support from our parents and our coaching staff were heroic! Thank you to Coach Ken Kepley from Pratt CC, Will Cokeley, Ryne Cokeley and Sammy Cokeley! Thanks also to Brad Simma, Mike Craine and all of the parents that also sat matside to help coach and encourage our team.
After a long hard fought season, this event has always been about having fun and essentially being a reward for the years' accomplishments. It's a special feeling representing a state that has you beaming with pride at all of the compliments they were getting. Not only are our state kids tough as NAILS, they have that built-in character that comes from awesome parents and a state wrestling community that is SECOND TO NONE!!!
